Google does not measure search snippet titles and descriptions purely by character count. Instead, Google's rendering engine enforces strict pixel width constraints:
600 pixels for Desktop titles (approx. 55-60 characters) and
960 pixels for Desktop descriptions (approx. 120-160 characters). Character pixel widths vary—for instance, uppercase `W` occupies significantly more horizontal space than lowercase `i`.
